Building on the praised E36 platform, BMW introduced the second generation M3 in 1992 with a straight six engine. Based on the 3-series coupe, the M3 featured advanced technology, including BMW's first double VANOS system for camshaft adjustment.
The 3-litre engine had 24-valve technology, twin overhead camshafts, and variable valve timing, managed by Bosch Motronic fuel injection, producing 286 horsepower at 7000 rpm. It accelerated from 0-100 km/h in six seconds with a top speed of 250 km/h, making the E36 M3 a world-class performer.
In 1995, BMW increased the engine to 3.2 litres, boosting power to 321 bhp at 7400 rpm. A six-speed gearbox and optional sequential DSG transmission were introduced, along with a Cornering Brake Control system and 17-inch wheels with wider tires. The BMW E36 M3, regarded as one of the best sports cars of the 1990s, is set to become a classic.

A set of KW V3 Suspension and Eisenmann Exhaust System installed in 2022. We also noticed a GruppeM Airbox and Wiechers Sport strut brace. Finally, a new updated audio system along with new speakers.

Original. Well-kept and maintained. The exterior has largely original paint with a few areas of paint refreshment work. The body is rust free and trims are in good condition with just some slight blemish. The car is equipped with 18" WORKS alloy wheels and fresh RE-71RS tires. The original 17" original alloy wheels were restored. The fully original interior is in very good condition, the audio system is upgraded. The BMW "Trip computer" was replaced and all gauges are in working order. Mechanically excellent, the car was well looked after. Spare wheel, tools & jack are all presented.
